A PRE-SERVICE TEACHER'S DAILY ROUTINE

There are many things to consider when it comes to choosing your own profession, and being an educator has no exemption. as we embrace our chosen path, we should also try to make actions that will make us love what we are doing, such as the routines as we go along, and little did we know, we gradually fall inlove with what we do.

As a pre-service educator, there are many activities you need to accomplish. In order for you not to be bombarded of many things, you must know how to manage your time properly.

Here are some tips that might be helpful to you that I also do as a pre-service teacher.

1. WAKE UP EARLY IN THE MORNING

Yes, you read that right. As a pre-service teacher, you should know how to manage your time, and waking up early in the morning is essential for you to be ready to fight the long tiring day that you will face. By waking up early, you can have your own time to contemplate your whole day goal, and  organize your schedule properly.

2.  SET YOUR DAILY GOALS

Setting your goal as a pre-service teacher is also important, for you to be guided what you will be doing the whole day and what are the activities that you need to pass and need to accomplish. As a matter of fact, it helps you to have a direction and guides you of what must be the first thing you would do. Hence, you will have a very productive day ahead of you.

3. REVIEW THE LESSONS YOU HAVE BEFORE GOING TO SCHOOL

As educators, you are bound to make a change for the betterment of your students. In order for you to do that, you must have a lot of "baon" as what my professor always say. As educators, we are expected to give our best to our students for them to learn, and reviewing the lesson would be helpful as we can gather as many information as possible for the class to be extraordinary.

4. EAT HEALTHY AND DRINK WATER REGULARLY

We cannot function well if we have low energy. So, we need to eat healthy foods and drink water regularly especially that we have plenty of schoolwork to do, so, sickness has no room for you. No matter how tiring the day gets, you should take care of yourself.

5. SEIZE THE DAY

Seize the day, give your best and God will do the rest. You need to enjoy and allow yourself to learn as you teach. However, you should be responsible of your own actions and make some reflections before you end your day. But always remember that you are a work in progress, you may be making mistake, but that will just drive you to thrive and succeed.

  1. Indeed. Being pre-service teacher requires passion and courage. The heavy duty and responsibility takes bravery, determination and your eagerness to continue this path. Of course, it is the road that you wanted to walk on, so you should do your best and never stop achieving your dreams. You wake up early and sleep late but all these arr worth it because one day, you will be awakened by your own victory and success.

  3. Very well said! As a pre-service teacher, I truly can relate to this. It's quite hard balancing my personal stuffs and school related activities. That's why it is very important that we set our goals first. In this way, we'll be guided all throughout the day/week. On the other hand, amidst all these challenges, it's fulfilling to see our students who are very eager to learn everyday.
